I too had similar Pingdom issues when I switched my site to CloudFlare. My site appeared to load faster when looking at it, but Pingdom said no.

The company went public in 2019 so they're in an in-between stage of start-up and moving into a more mature company. So far the good far outweighs the bad, although I am beginning to suspect bad neighbors could certainly negatively influence ranking. We have a few comparisons ongoing.
